ok, lee and i rented a nice little house from a sweet couple for over two years when we lived in tn.
it was the only good thing about tn.
we had nice neighbors and wonderful landlords.

I would advise the police. Because, you can request anonymity, for you and her. Proffessional duty will keep that private, yet allow you to tell, and also keep your neighbor friend safe.

every morning craig and i have this same arguement, but i finally settled it and with his own bible!.
we start every morning having this argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.. .
i say, "you should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee.".

the scriptures are some of the oldest books in the world known to man with dates included now how do you suppose that can be, that these books have survived this long, many thousands of years ?
hmmmmmm i don't see any other book on the shelf as long as this book not even any other history book as far as that goes, now i wonder why a book that supposedly is nothing more than a lie or uninspired as some of you put it would survive that long.
i wonder how christianity has lasted as long as it has if it is all just a lie.

My guess would be, because the bible is is so diverse. It includes very old texts from many different peoples, and lands.
The Ten Commandments for instance, are said to be based on the Hammarabi Code, from Babylonia.
Then there are all the beautiful, and ancient poems of psalms, and Job.
Not to mention the sultry Solomon.
I would also say that the three ''great religions'', Jewish, Christian, and Muslim, base their religion on these texts. That is a big chunk of the worlds population, that fit in there, so I would imagine that keeps it on the shelf, as you say.

Personally I don't think this board is solely ''Anti-Jw", I don't think too many doubters would come here and stay it it comes to that.
What would be the purpose of it being so? As a "What is your favorite song" type of place?
Surely, for newbies a little balance is in order, no body comes out for the first time relating to what some of we long time outers say. Without support from some of the posters here who can freely relate their feelings,
this board would quickly grow stale, and useless.
And if this is an Anti-JW board, then I would have to say the title alone is dubious. I believe Simon's purpose for the board is to allow free expression of honest feelings, in order to help those who have found themselves where we once were, alone and confused.

I find this entire thread convoluted.
Scoob is a gay dub, who loves the collection of fruitcakes, that hate his guts, Whilst harboring ill will for the board posters who accept him.
On this point, there can be no argument. If Scoob loves them and their teachings, then he cannot be ''on the fence''. This is considered an apostate place to be after all. So I do doubt his sincerity, or at least his mental well being.
I find it quite ironic that the two posters whom are giving Scoob such a hard time however, need to find some balance of their own.
I mean, Minimus has wracked up over 5000 posts in a year, asking silly fluff questions, never reveals anything about himself (which is fine by me, I dont have a problem with that), but he shouldn't IMHO slam someone who does reveal a bit of himself to us. At least Scooby had the balls to type out something not ending in a question mark.
